Contains a photocopy showing Bell in military dress, his medals, citations, and rank insignia. Also includes a short history of Destroyer Squadron 47 written by Roger C. Naylor. Discusses the histories of the nine destroyers within this group and the battles they engaged in, most notably the action they saw at Okinawa. Bell's ship survived the war without sustaining major damage.
